I cannot agree with you........... those people who sell their votes are illiterates they do not know what is good or bad for the country....... the politicians of the country have ensured that they stay that way. the country has never given them any thing......... all they care is that  they can earn a week's pay by selling their vote........ which is a huge money for them........ they dont care how they live tomorrow........ they live their life on daily basis.......... for those people it doesnt matter where the country is heading as long as they get 3 meals per day........

This is because of the vote bank politics

on the other hand People like U and me ...just talk abt what is good and bad for the country........... to some extent we can even judge what is good for the country......... but we will never cast the vote......... we consider the election day as a holiday.

It has to be mandated that every citizen has vote and should be made a mandatory duty, they should also include a filed "none of the above" on the ballot paper to avoid excuses
