a primary key can be a collection of more than one columns.
if 2 columns are attached to primary key, then it will allow duplicate values for one column.  sHa_high5ing sHa_high5ing

Its not a union Query...




PIDM anedi vere table lo primary key......AA 3 tables ni link chesi i created a query and make table chesanu result ni.....
So PIDM is not Primary in this...Infact ee Result table lo Primary keys ae levu it is just using the fields in other tables....
but ippudu naku em kavalante....I want this table to be having unique PIDMS......

Wat i tried was :
                                  Result table untundi kada....aa table ki i went to the indexes and tried to make it unique but already dantlo duplicates undatam valla.....it was raising some error...

I dint get how to do it.....

if a primary key is attached to 2 columns say column1, column2

column1 column2
1            1
1              2
1              3


the above rows can be inserted into table.

[/quote]result table ki asalu index endhuku create chesaru?defent ga error vasthadhi bcoz index endhuku create chestham ante performance kosam kadha...if you want to get the data from the table which contains lot of rows..we create indexes..so that u get that data quickly..
