Power Star" Pavan Kalyan is said to be unhappy with his brother Chiranjeevi’s decision to merge his Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress.

Upset over the political developments surrounding the PRP, Pavan Kalyan reportedly expressed his displeasure to his brother and even picked up an argument. And Chiranjeevi tried to explain to his brother the circumstances under which he had to take the decision, but Pavan said it would degrade the image of megastar and that would reflect on his films, too. He clearly told Chiranjeevi that he would not like to be party with the decision and would rather quit politics.

That is the perhaps reason why Chiranjeevi inadvertently told the media in Delhi that “one or two” persons might be opposing the merger plan, but he would go by the majority opinion.

For Pavan, who entered politics with a burning desire to change the society and help his brother Chiranjeevi to realize the dream,  the turn of events has come as a rude jolt. The actor was actively involved in the formation of PRP and then in the campaign for the 2009 elections.He was also made the president of Yuva Rajyam, the youth wing of PRP. During the campaign rallies, he made rhetorical speeches, attacking the Congress leaders and the successive governments.

Neither Pavan nor his elder brother Nagababu was involved in the current exercise of negotiations with Congress. After learning that PRP was drifting towards Congress, the "Power Star" became totally disillusioned and told his followers and well-wishers that he was quitting active politics. He is also worried about his brother's future in Congress and whether a sensitive person like him can survive in the ruthless world of Congress culture.\
