Alagiya Tamil Magan means beautiful Tamil kid in Tamil language. A movie with Vijay as hero was made in Tamil previously. Producer Dr. K.L. Narayana wanted to remake it in Telugu with Mahesh Babu in the title role. But it did not fare well in Tamil, so the project was dropped. Now the same movie is being dubbed in Telugu and will be released shortly.
