There is a 2-minute video published by a German engineering firm Fraunhofer that shows how an iPhone s security can be rendered completely useless and can be bypassed with utmost ease. The device used in the video is an iPhone 4 running iOS 4.2.1 with no jailbreak. The video uploaded clearly defines the procedures in 5 steps. Step 1: Jailbreak the deviceStep 2: Get access to the file systemStep 3: Copy a keychain access script on the deviceStep 4: Execute the script to reveal security with the help of system functionStep 5: Your secrets are .The purpose of the demonstration is to make consumers and manufacturers aware of the fact that they need to be prepared to take immediate action if they lose their iPhone 4.
