Hi Gopi:

I am a TVU student. I happen to attend the conference call today at 6 P.M EST. First of all I would like to thank you guys for arranging this conf call. Here are the points which I want to summarize and bring to your notice as well as S.M.Krishna and the Indian Govt.

All the TVU students have been given the so-called 3 options which are

1) Go back to home country, apply for a new f-1 visa and re-enter USA
2) Apply for re-instatement
3) Voluntary Departure

Fortunately for USA govt and unfortunately for TVU students none of this options help secure and regain their student status back. I would like to give you some resources pertaining to the similar (not same) kind of situation happened earlier in USA and fortunately all those students have been given a chance to transfer to other university without even applying for re-instatement.

Ultimately all the students of TVU just want Indian Govt help at a very high official political level since moving forward to solve this issue politically can change things in TVU student's favor.

There is no solution for this if we just go on attending the conf calls without even having a guarantee that this incident situation is being taken to the higher official ears.

At this point we all TVU students.....want our SEVIS transfered to other schools without even thinking about re-instatement as an option and we highly believe that this can happen only if the higher official of Indian Govt come in contact with the higher official of USA govt.

Until then..nothing is going to happen...and we (TVU students) will still be like a play toy in the hands of ICE and DHS.

So Kindly consider this as an Indian National Issue and please don't neglect otherwise all hell will break lose.
