Good question!!! During the post treatment, corrosion inhibiters are added to avoid rusting...

However did you ever consider the BPA/BPF (Bis-phenol A, Bis- phenol F) that are leached into the bottled water from the plastic bottles..BPA/BPF are considered endocrine disrupting compounds which are attributed to lethal effects such as decrease in sperm count, feminism characteristics by male species, DNA disorders in offsprings and many more.... sHa_fr1ends sHa_fr1ends

i never supported the bottles concept but pipes is no good though even if they use corrosion inhibitors coz the inhibitors is synthetic

Well I completely agree with you. That said, both have their own cons....and relatively tap water wins the game...(In US)
