[/quote]decision was made because of the rioting that occured after sreeramulu's death...okavela ayanaki bayapadi unte y did the government let him die...even chidambaram's statement was a result of protests across telangana...KCR's fast just acted as a catalyst to it...

KCR fabricate chesadu udyamanni..YSR poyyevaraku cheyaledu fast..public sentiment adantha fine..AP ni okkate affect cheyyadu..it is a national issue..so tht way, even if telangana formation eases the administration, it is extremely difficult because the central govt has to take a national level stand on it..

Govt. NEVER came down bcos of KCR;s fast..it only had to come down because of the ATROCIOUS VIOLENCE and UNREST created for about 2 years...and there is a 60 yrs history to this movement. Media coverage is creating many tensions. Also, Business,daily life, govt properties, Jobs filling, education, OU rowdism , innocent ..or rather..foolish students deaths etc....have all contribute to the issues focus. Besides...it is more of a POLITICAL LOBBYING now. Cong needs TRS support in order to gain majority ..hence...that kind of play.

Potti Sree ramulu is not a politician nor did he have a personal agenda. hE IS A MAN OF CHARACTER and fought a genuine battle for hte pride of Telugus. Aattacking his statues amounts to..CRIMINAL OFFENSE.

my observation was from another view point..i was interested in how the govt reacted then and now..im not comparing potti sreeramulu with KCR..it is not about whether potti sreeramulu was genuine in his demand for statehood..it is not even about how skewed KCR's agenda is.. infact potti sreeramulu telugu state ankunnavadu, adi raka mundhe chanipoyaru..it speaks volumes about his character..im not denying that..potti sreeramulu death tarvata jarigina godavala tarvata govt reaction undindi..of course the decision was a wise one with a national outlook..oka marker create chesaru so in that sense it was good..
