Governor report played spoil sport with T-bill?????????????????????????????????

Governor E S L Narasimhan’s report on the Thursday’s unwarranted developments in the state legislative assembly is said to have changed the mind of Congress leadership in taking a decision on the Telangana statehood.

After facing humiliating experience in the assembly due to unruly behaviour of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLAs, the Governor reportedly called up union home minister P Chidambaram and briefed him about the developments. He reportedly recommended to the Centre not to take any positive decision on the Telangana issue, since it would lend credence to the ugly behaviour of the TRS legislators.

Simultaneously, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy also apprised Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Chidambaram over the aggressive attitude of the TRS legislators. Following their complaints, Sonia has decided to keep the Telangana issue on the backburner. So, there is no question of taking any decision till the completion of the budget session of parliament, sources from New Delhi say.
