Deletedid1 Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 GUNTUR: Minister of state for defence M M Pallam Raju said on Sunday that two units of defence research would come up in Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad shortly. Arms manufacturing depots would also form part of these new units. He said the government had cleared a missile project for naval forces, which would be commissioned by September this year. He said that with the new project in place, the Indian Navy would be one of few forces in the world to possess such technology. Referring to Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's seven-day fast in Hyderabad on the fee reimbursement issue, he said the state government would clear the fees in a phased manner. "It's a big burden on the state exchequer, but there is no need for students to get panicky," he said. Saying that Jagan had hurriedly left the Congress, he observed that the young leader would realise his folly and rejoin the party soon.
