Even if we apply H1 in April 1st 2011, you can work only from October 1st 2011.
I think you can use CAP GAP only if you applied H1 and got LIN number with you.

naku thelisi..after you opt stem extension..you will have 30 or 60 days grace period. so e time lo you can change your status...but you are not autherized to work....
