katharnak Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 Hyderabad, Feb 24: Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof Kodandaram has stated here that the ‘Andhra Go back’ slogan raised during the 1969 separate Telangana agitation was not correct.He made it clear that after formation of separate Telangana state, Seemandhra people living in Telangana need not go back to their respective places. Prof. Kodandaram inaugurated a ‘deeksha’ programme launched by the Seemandhra people in Kukatpally here in support of separate Telangana state on Thursday.Speaking on the occasion, he said that Telangana people were never opposed to Andhra people.Telangana state advocates were against some Andhra migrants who were looting and exploiting the region and earning thousands of crores of rupees.The JAC chief said that they would provide protection and security to Seemandhra people after formation of Telangana State.They were prepared to discuss about the problems of Seemandhra people living in Telangana.He said that only a section of the politicians raised the ‘Samaikya Andhra’ slogan with the selfish motive of protecting their wealth and property earned in Telangana region, while many of the Seemandhra people were not opposed to Telangana state formation.Those who started the ‘deeksha’ said that after formation of Telangana, they would continue to stay in the city.They made it clear that they were ‘Seemandhras’, but not supporters of united Andhra move.EE MUKKA AA MUKKU KCR THO ANIPINCHU
