Rolls-Royce eyes business expansion in India

NEW DELHI: The chief executive officer (CEO) of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Torsten Muller Otvos, has declared that the company is planning to add new dealerships stores in India to expand its distribution network and earn more revenue from Indian automobile market.

The new distribution channels of Rolls-Royce would likely to come up at Punjab and Hyderabad. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars aims to cash on the booming auto industry in India by expanding its distribution network in the country. The company plans to expand its client base by delivering high-end, ultra-modern luxury cars to the customers. The company has registered 600% growth in annual sales in India by selling over 80 cars in the country during 2010. The company already operates two dealership outlets in Delhi and Mumbai to provide efficient and effective delivery services to its clients in India.

"I think at least two more dealerships will be added," said, Torsten Muller Otvos, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
