Director Trivikram has okayed her after considering several other actresses. Trivikram had recently seen Ala Modalaindi and impressed with Nitya Menon's performance in the film. Nitya Menon has been flooded with offers in Telugu but this is her big film. To be produced by Danaiah, the untitled movie will go to the sets next month. Taman is the music director for this movie.
