kingmakers Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 With the demand for separate Telangana state reaching a feverish pitch, the Seemandhra leaders are worried whether the Centre would succumb to the pressure and concede Telangana. That is why, they have now started bringing pressure on the Centre to impose the President’s Rule in the state and crush the Telangana movement with iron hand. “The situation is going out of hands. The Telangana employees are holding the government to ransom and the leaders are blackmailing the government. The government has miserably failed to contain the agitation,” Congress MP from Guntur Rayapati Sambasiva Rao.The Seemandhra MPs are gearing up for a counter-agitation in the event of any positive decision by the Centre on Telangana. “We will ask the Centre to stick to the Srikrishna Committee report’s recommendations and nothing else,” he said.
