Deletedid1 Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Veteran freedom fighter Ran Singh, who served as a captain in the Indian National Army of Subhash Chandra Bose, died on Sunday at the age of 93 in Haryana's Rohtak district.Singh, who died of old-age related ailments, was cremated with full state honours.Expressing deep sorrow over his death, Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that Singh was a brave soldier and the country would never forget his contribution to the freedom struggle.
