psycopk Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 The famous prefix for Raju came from the film ‘Dil’ made on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner which debuted Nithin to Tollywood. Producer Venkataramana Reddy came to be known as ‘Dil’ Raju from then on. ‘Dil’ Raju’s upcoming ventures include a huge budget film debuting Nagchaithanya as hero, another with Ram in the lead, and a remake of ‘Marocharithra’ (1979) starring Varun Sandesh. Nithin’s latest ‘Drona’ opened with a lukewarm response and later vanished into the dust. But for good times, ‘Dil’ Raju has planned a big budget film with Nithin set to be directed by a young debutant maker. With a list of not-so-good films in hand, Nithin is in dire need of a hit and the hit maker ‘Dil’ Raju might recreate the magic for him since their last.
