New Delhi: The English media has not left a stone unturned in tearing apart the English team and users on the social networking sites had interesting expressions to embarrass England for their shocking loss to neighbours Ireland in the World Cup on Wednesday.
After scoring a massive 327, England were left dazed as Kevin O' Brien blazed his way to overhauling the total, with help from the tailenders and reached the target with four balls to spare. With some wayward bowling and some sloppy fielding by the team, including Andrew Strauss dropping a catch as well, England too did not miss any trick to commit suicide.

As expected, the loss didn't go down well with the critical English press and fans of the team.
"There won't be a cow milked in Clontarf tonight!" read one of the tweets, whiile one said, "Ireland beating England at cricket is like Zaire beating the US at basketball, or Justin Beiber winning a Sumo Wrestling match."
The elation of the Irish fans was best summarised by one of the tweets, which had some interesting correlations to make. "We've beaten Wales at football, Scotland at rugby, England at cricket and very soon we'll beat Poland at emigrating!," one of the tweets read.
The English fans, too, didn't hold back in lambasting their team. "So do England need to hand the Ashes over to Ireland after the cricket loss? If we need new ones, maybe we could burn Pietersen's Ferrari?" an understandably irate English fan tweeted.
The British media wasn't to be left behind and went after the English team with some scathing criticism of Andrew Strauss' men.
"One of the charities attached to this World Cup has asked the players to nominate their favourite book. Perhaps after this humiliation by Ireland, the England team will name it 'We Need to Talk About Kevin' following their punishment by one of the most amazing one-day innings of all time," said The Telegraph's Nick Hoult.
The Daily Telegraph summarised England's embarrassment in its headline, which read, "England's greatest humiliation". Inside, former England batsman Geoffrey Boycott said England can pack their bags if they continue to bowl like this.
"How the mighty have fallen so quickly," Boycott wrote. "England were national heroes after winning the Ashes. Now they are national chumps after this shocking and embarrassing defeat."
The Independent's Stephen Brenkley wrote, ""On the scale of sporting shocks, Ireland broke the sound barrier last night. It was not so much that they defeated England in the World Cup... but the unthinkable fashion of their three-wicket victory."
In The Sun, former England Captain Nasser Hussain spoke of the infighting and disharmony in the camp and he too had a crack at the Three Lions. He said, "England looked a shambles in the field with Strauss having a go at Graeme Swann and vice versa."
