Stop divorce stories: Bhumika

Actress Bhumika Chawla talked to Mumbai based ‘Mumbai Mirror’ magazine to clear the air about her relationship with her husband. She said that, she has never had any disputes with her husband and hence the question of divorcing him doesn’t arise at all.

She said “I have been shuttling between Mumbai, Dubai and Hyderabad all these days on some project works. One can’t expect me to carry my hubby all the way like a child to mother. He has his own jobs and we can’t be expected to move together. But, this doesn’t prove that, we have disputes between us.”

“I was shocked to know that media reports. It reports that, I have filed my divorce papers, because I have disputes with my husband, facing domestic violence, we have landed in money problems, and he is having affairs with some of his clients. My staying at Mumbai with my mother was given as evidence to state that, I am divorcing my husband.”

“Actually, my mother had an ‘Angeoplast’ operation and she need to be looked after by me. So, I have to stay in Mumbai. Of course, I agree that my husband Bharat is a little bit arrogant and made some losses in our film business. But, one can’t expect to take divorce from her life partner merely because her husband is arrogant and lost some money in business?”

“I think all these rubbish stories will come to an end, only when we bring a baby into the world. Hope the day is not so far and people will understand how strong our bond is,” says Bhumika Chawla
