Follow these steps inorder to trasfer data to other table....

1. in SSIS BI Studio you have to take "Data Flow Task" in Control Flow Tab.

2. After Double click on "Data Flow Task"  you will transfer to Data Flow Tab.

3. In Data Flow Tab you have to put "OLE DB Source" and "OLE DB Destination"

4. In "Ole DB Source", You have to Assign Connection of source DB and select Drop Down of "Data access mode"  as "SQL Command", there you can write you Query,

5. In "Ole DB Destination", You have to Assign Connection of Destination DB and select Drop Down of "Data access mode"  as "Table or view fast load", there you have to select Destination Table.

SSIS vachu kaani, ee question ki answer teliyadhu.
eppudu ilanti situation raledhu.

My Guess: when ur transfering data from Table A to Table B, u can see options in the Data Access Mode Dropdown list. instead of selecting "table or view", select "Sqlcommand" and write a sql command.

in the sql command start with locking the first table, then select statment and then removing the lock.

[/quote]instead of selecting table ..select 'sql command' in that

i think you can try this query inorder to lock that table

SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL READ COMMITED
GO
BEGIN TRANSACTION
SELECT * FROM TABLE
COMMIT TRANSACTION

idhi source select chese apudu.. sql command lo use chesthe work avuthundemo  sCo_hmmthink sCo_hmmthink
