Hitman Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 We suppose to give 2% salary increase. Since budget issues, we gave 1% increase last year, this year remaining 1%. Ex : Budget approved $1 hike for $50 Hourly salary. Due to crisis What we did last year was ... gave initial 1% increase... i.e.. 50 cents. Hourly rate became 50.50Now we gave remaining 1% . but it became 1% out of $50.50 , total became $51.005. It is .005 cents extra. Now auditors wants us to take off the extra .005. The numbers are example purpose only, real numbers vary. Need help with the formula... it looks simple.. but nothing is striking to me... ee functional job lo padi.. basic mathematics marchipyanu....... !q# !q# sFun_duh sFun_duh Help *<:( *<:( ...
