kingmakers Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 Plunder of natural resources unabated. Private companies given monopoly over 348 km of south AP coast. Now even Govt of India cannot get waterfront for a port on AP south coast. Lok Satta has taken up the issue. Many private companies are entering into dubious G-to-G agreements, avoiding competition and transparency. We should expose them. There is no time to lose to save our precious natural resources - spectrum, land, mines, coastline, everything is up for grabs. We need to pool reliable information on monopolies being acquired across India over natural resources. Concerted national effort needed.
