Three of Saddam’s shot-up tanks can be found in the mountains in the north of Iraq.These tanks were damaged by Kurds during the first Iraq War.It happened when Saddam's main forces were in the south, beating off attacks by the AmericansIraqi forces finally left Kurdistan in October 1991.Whole families of locals come here and have their pictures taken....
