Unix / java defunct proces ???

1)Issue this command and you will know what application or process is used by this port.(lsof -i :7503).
2)issue the pid command to know the process ,you will get a process id then in the 3rd step
3)Issue the command kill -9 pid.
4)If you still cannot kill the process then you should be having some scripts written by the architects of your working client like how to kill a process .
5)Be careful and follow the documentation before restarting the server .

OS enti? netstat/lsof command use sesi port number and pids grab seyochemo kada sCo_hmmthink

sorry2 dude i am just posting my views ....i did not see the past replies for the  post, My aim is to provide solution for the problem.

Try to use this script and kill all the processes .
for i in `ps -ef | grep defunct | awk ‘{print $3}’`; do kill -9 $i; done
