small doubt about tax filing....

hi mamalu.......nenu tax file cheddam anukuntunna.....i am on OPT and worked on 1099.
do i have file like resident or non resident........state tax pay cheyala........
plz help me on this..........

yup..NR means Non-Resident  sHa_high5ing

But Some tax filing agents..ekkuva tax returns ippistamu ani 1040 apply chestaru..tht's only for GC's n Citizens. Adi apply cheyyatam valla prastuthaniki emi problem undadu..

But GC processeing lo daniki double amt mukku pindi ( extra amt of returns + fine fee) marii vasuul chestaru. sFun_duh sFun_duh  sFun_duh

first check whether you come under resident or non-resident in this government website [url=http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc851.html]http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc851.html[/url]......if you come under resident file appropriate 1040 pr 1040A or 1040EZ form..................and if you come under non-resident then you have to file 1040EZ-NR....

thanks to everyone.....but my only doubt is do i hav to pay state tax or not......
actually i am frm california and worked in PA. so naa tax forms lo rendu state lu mention chesi unnai...
tax consultants vallani adigithe okkokkadu oka rakanga chepthunnaru......konthamandi 2 state's tax pay cheyali antunnaru..
naaku em cheyalo ardam kavatledhu......plz help me on this.....
