NASA's zero- tolerance drug policy is being  put to the test after 4.2 grams of a white powdery substance that turn out to be cocaine was found at the Kennedy Space Center.

According to Renee Juhans, "Law enforcement personnel field tested the substance, which indicated a positive test for cocaine." She then added that, "The substance is now at an accredited crime lab for further testing,"

Juhans would not say where the cocaine was found in the Space Center, but did say that it was discovered on March 7.
As a policy, all NASA employees are required to submit to random drug test. NASA has a zero- tolerance drug policy.

Weather any employees have been asked to submit to any drug test since the discovery of the drugs is unknown.
NASA's Inspector General's Office says an investigation is under way, and that no further comment would be given.
