For ex. there are lots of people who has taken away big loans and cards (of the size of several tens of thousands of GBP or USD) and happily staying in India. The thing is INTERPOL is not dealing even that lucrative cases where if they can get the criminal they can recollect a large amount and already they would have coordinated with debt collection agencies that are based in India.
This is the drama of the Police to 'scare' these petty criminals so that they wont repeat this.
In coming days it will be out.
And coming to the main point, the so-called stars of Indian Cinema (at least South Indian) are not that big an international figures.
