Now you actually have to follow through with a successful date. This can be a very nervous experience for the both of you but maybe these tips will put you at ease. First look good. This is for your confidence and for her to see that you actually care about what she thinks of you. The second step is to have good manners and conversation during the date. The last step is to correspond with your date afterward.1Look good. Your appearance is not the most important part of the date, even though some people seem to think so. It is key to make sure you dress appropriate for the occasion. If you're going to a fancy restaurant wear nicer clothes than if you were taking her to a movie and ice cream. Make sure you are confident in what you look like. Take a shower, fix your hair, put on deodorant and cologne, brush your teeth, carry gum, wear a nice clean shirt, pants, and shoes, and don't forget to shave your face. Make sure you listen to her when she speaks and look into her eyes. Be genuinely interested in her as a person and not just in what she looks like. Keep the conversation flowing and get to know each other. Some conversation starters include asking about family, what their hobbies are, or what music they listen to.
