Incident happened with me& which cost me 800$ ----PPL are smart these days

one of my office mate was travelling to india  and i gave him iphone+handycam+hard disk (which has lot of data).I called him on march 6th about my items and when my bro can collect it. then he said lost baggage that has iphone too. my bro called him and asked him can i collected rst of items , he said come down in evening and collect them.
he asked to come khairthabad and give him call, when my bro reached near his home and called him, asked abt home address , this guy says he even lost those items.later on i called up my office mate and asked him what happen, he said 4 kgs are missing from bag but not the bag was missing and he said logged complaint with emirates when i asked copy of complaint he says complaint copy is in wife house and can send only after week, he stays in khairthabad and his wife in AS RAO harldy 15 kms, he dont even have time to go and come , i asked can  someone in your wife house to handover to my brother he says cant do it. How funny is it , can't even imagine why people want enjoy at some others money.he is my office mate he should know that what he done will impact in office.
