****SEHWAG'S FITNESS STILL A CONCERN****

India have concerns over the fitness of hard-hitting opener Virender Sehwag and could leave a decision on his fitness until the morning of the quarterfinal against defending champion Australia, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said on Wednesday.

Dhoni said the team management wouldn't rush a decision as Sehwag is still recuperating from an infection to his knee that kept him out of the last group game against the West Indies.

"We will take a call this evening or tomorrow morning," Dhoni said.

Sehwag could play a key role in the knockout match, particularly with Australia relying heavily on pace to get early wickets.

"It is always good to have Sehwag opening the batting because he can change the course of the game in five overs," Dhoni said. "If the Australian bowlers are planning to bowl the short stuff at us, Sehwag is sure to hit them if there is anything wrong with their direction."

Sehwag is India's leading scorer in the tournament with 327 from five games. His 175 against Bangladesh in the opening match at Dhaka is the highest individual score of the tournament.

The veteran opener has been training with the team ahead of the high-profile game.

Indian team management is playing a mind game, that's all. this tactic makes australian bowlers may not concentrate much on sehwag. they will prepare for both option Sehwag in or out.
