# NEED HELP # Action plan for "Winning the "Jan Lokpal" war on twitter."

Friends,

Many of you must be knowing, the large number of netizens including Top journalists, Actors,

Thinkers are on twitter.So we need to get them to read and get involved in IAC.



Heres what i think is possible way of doing so.





Let me explain some terms first...

1) Twitter trends- this are top 10 words which are most discussed in the status updates of the country.

Twitter calculates and display top 10 most discussed words to each and every person from this country who is on twitter.

2)Sponserd trend- this is the word which twitter displays at number one place of top 10 trends of every person logged in.

This could be buyed by paying anywhere between 100,000$ to 200,000$ amount and is used by companies for promotion.

Obviously we cant buy it ; )  .. 

  We cant get anywhere near this without money. But there always is a way."If door is closed , run for another door... but if that too is closed then break the window"



Plan A---

We need to get into top 10 trending topics till 5th April so that every person visiting twitter will see "#JanLokpal" and try to know about it.

1 ) We need atleast 500 people who are on twitter but more we are merrier.( you can create your account now, but if you have few followers then its great)

2)  Every Person in this 500 group will tweet something about #JanLokpal atleast 10 times a day(off course you can tweet more).Time doesnt matter.

    It may be a] Please join India Against corruption On [url=http://www.facebook.com/iac]www.facebook.com/iac[/url] #JanLokpal

        Or        b] Anna fighting for us on [url=http://www.indiaagainstcorruption.org]www.indiaagainstcorruption.org[/url]  #Janlokpal

        or        c] We just reached 10,000 activists strong on [url=http://www.causes.com/iac]www.causes.com/iac[/url]  #Janlokpal

        Or      anything else like your thoughts and experiences and links to IAC related stuff with sentence ending in tag "#janLokpal"





Plan B---

Lets target celebrities

Go to this list.. this are people who are regular on twitter and have thousands of followers.

And do this 

a]Choose anyone for eg. lets say Amitabhji and ask him or her about her views about "#janlokpal"

b]the person will obviously reply the tweet "What is this #Janlokpal thing you are asking me about"... half the battle is won here when he mentions about "#janlokpal"

as all his followers will get to know about the term and few will surely talk about it.

c]It doesnt matter if the person is supporting it or not., what we want is he mentions it in his tweet. and conversation starts.





Plan C---

Here we target Journalists.

Most of the Journos are on twitter.We will ask them about doing shows about Anna hazares fast and Janlokpal bill

a] Choose any journalist from the list. Reply to any of his tweet eg.. 

      "@Bdutt hi mam @rajdeepsardesai sir did a show on #janlokpal and Anna hazare. When can we see your contribution to the same."

b]Even if the person does not do the show she will reply for sure and start a conversation.



If we execute these three things equally we will surely get the tag #janlokpal trending.

Its a collective effort.



Has it done before.

Yes it has been done.There was this guy i follow who is kashmiri pandit.the day was for kashmiri pandits and he started asking all and everyone to know about their views about Kashmiri Pandit issue.. soon the tag he started was trending at 6 level.  if he alone can create and trend the topic we can do it too.
