psycopk Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 In a deliberate move, Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi evaded the official programmes of Chief Minister K Rosaiah in Tirupati on Sunday. Chiranjeevi was informed well in advance about the programme of the Chief Minister, since he happens to be the local MLA. He was supposed to attend the official review meeting on the development of Tirupati town and give suggestions on the subject. Another notable absentee from the meeting was Tirupati Urban Development Authority chairman Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy, who is an ardent fan of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and a die-hard campaigner for making Jaganmohan Reddy as chief minister. In fact, Bhaskara Reddy’s presence at the meeting was a must, because it pertained to development of Tirupati municipality. But he skipped the meeting for obvious reasons, exposing the chinks in the Congress party. Chiranjeevi stayed put in Hyderabad in view of the Greater Hyderabad polls. Perhaps, he also did not want to give scope to any further rumours on his party’s merger with the Congress by sharing dais with Rosaiah
