Gist : Young guy's passion for his bike and its consequences

Analysis :

Varun Sandesh entered the league of mass movies with Kurradu which has adequate action sequences and blood shed. The first half of the movie is good with decent comedy and grips the audience till the interval. In the second half the entire tempo of the movie is lost and screenplay turns pathetic. The bike concept makes people compare the movie with Ride which has similar storyline. Editing is not up to the mark. Cinematography is decent. Music is good but the untimely songs irritate the audience.

Story :

Varun (Varun Sandesh) is a middle class boy who enjoys life with his group of friends. He dreams of owning a bike and finally manages to buy one after his father (Tanikella Bharani) gives him money to settle in life. He loves a girl, Hema (Neha Sharma) and keeps following her from two years. After purchasing the bike, Varun gets a job and Hema also gives consent for his love. On one fateful day, Varun's bike is lost and he searches for it everywhere as he feels that it is his lucky bike and does not want to part with it. Satya (Ravi Shankar) is a local gangster who does settlements and smuggling of Ganjai. What connection does Satya and Varun's bike have and will Varun get back his bike or not is rest of the story.

Artists Performance :

Varun Sandesh - He did a good job in his first attempt as a mass hero, but at times looked too skinny in action sequences. With little more concentration on his body language he can fit in as a mass hero perfectly.

Neha Sharma - She has nothing to perform in the movie and was limited to songs. Even in few scenes where she had couple of dialogues, she was expressionless.

Ravishankar - He was perfect as Satya and his voice accentuated his role.

Tanikella Bharani. Pragathi, Ravi, Bullet were appropriate.

Venu provided good laughs. Ali was ok and MS Narayana's role was monotonous.

Highlights :

1) Venu's comedy in the first half and couple of songs.

Negatives :

1) Weak Screenplay in the second half

2) The very bike concept did not go well with the audience.

Final Say : On the whole Kurradu dissapoints. Can watch if you are dying to watch Varun Sandesh in his new avatar.
