‘Colours’ Swathi turns singer!

‘Colours’ Swathi has added a new feather to her cap. She started off her career as an anchor for a talk show ‘Colours’ which made her immensely popular. Soon, she began acting in films. Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule, Subramaniyapuram and Ashta Chemma made her all the more popular with cinegoers. Later, she even dubbed for others and her voice over for Ileana in Jalsa was well-received. Now, she has turned singer. She recently sang a song for one of Devi Sri Prasad’s compositions for Sukumar 100% Love. The female version of the song A(square) B(square) was sung by Swathi. Yesterday, at the audio launch of 100% Love, Swathi sang the song with Devi Sri Prasad infront of a live audience. Devi Sri Prasad said, “Swathi and I have been friends for quite sometime, but I had no idea that she sings. When I heard her croon on a random occasion, I convinced her to sing this song for me and she has done quite well.” Adding to this, Swathi quipped saying, “I hope it’s a one time thing.”
