Padmapriya in Vishwanadh's "Sumadhuram"

Director Vishwanadh after directing Swabhishekam, was showing interest mainly in acting. He acted in several movies and after a gap is again weilding the megaphone. He chose a good project for his comeback as director. Allari Naresh got the chance to act as hero in this movie. Though Kamal Haasan's daughter Shruthi Haasan was offered heroine's role, but she was not interested to do it and declined.

Vishwanadh searched for another and at last found Malyali actress Padmapriya to be suitable for the role. She is not a novice in Telugu flicks as she already has done a movie Srinu...Vasanthi....Laxmi. It didn't do well at the box-office and she couldn't get further offers in Telugu. "Sumadhuram" is being considered for its title and is to be launched soon.
