KCR to fast until death for Telengana on Nov 29th

The moment of truth for KCR’s battle for Telengana is here. He has announced that he would fast until death for Telengana on November 29th at Martyr’s Memorial in Siddipet. The fast would begin from 11 AM onwards. KCR also announced that he would tour across the districts of Telengana to spread awareness about the need for a separate Telengana and the extent of land grabbing by Andhra realtors. However, he has kept the onus on the government to face consequences which his fast might lead to, like region-wide agitation, resorting to violence. After raising slogans like ‘Jaago Telengana Wale, Bhago Andhra Wale’, he has urged the people of Telengana to support their ‘son’ in this ultimate fight. KCR appealed to the people of Telengana to decide either to participate in his Shava Yatra or Jaitra Yatra. When asked if he has taken permission from the police, he quipped, ‘Did Potti Sreeramulu take permission when he fasted until death?’. He also lashed out at Chandrababu Naidu, Rama Naidu, Nagarjuna, Y.S.Vivekananda Reddy for allegedly possessing Gurukul trust land. Meanwhile, a citizen has filed a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) against KCR quoting that it might lead to violence and hence it should not be permitted.
