** Comment / Openion on Telugu & Indian movies **

Hi Friends,

Just wanted to share my views on the INDIAn Movies and so is this post.

Movies will generate good revenue to the Film Industry and inturn to the Country.... and also get good RECOGNITION to the Country. Now a days Indian movies are coming out with good stories and with good standards.

So, the INDIAn movies should be made in 2 versions....

1) Targetting Indian audiance (with songs).

2) Targetting International audiance (without songs...may be with one song to promote INDIAn movies).

I have seen some Hollywood horror/thriller movies and they are NOT that good but are still generating some decent money in DOLLARS (since they have english dialogues)..

Couple of INDIAn thriller movies are having good standards.....like Manthra, Anasuya, Saroja, Nandanavanam, etc.. and now the new one "AMARAVATHI".

My openion, next time when the directors are making these kind of movies they can also target International audience since many people across the world like thriller/horror moves...no matter what country they are made in and if they have english dialogues.........say for example Chinese and japanese thriller/horror movies.

By seeing Ravi Babu's previous movie "Anasuya".... and the trailer of new movie "AMARAVATHI" his film making is upto the mark of HOLLYWOOD standards.... My openion is that he has to release it in English Version too..!! If not now, he/they (Directors) have to plan atleast for his/their next movie.

What is your openion guys..... Please let me and the directors/producers know about your openion, so that they can target the International audience from next time..

Anasuya etc movies will not run Internationally if International audience nterests are not considered....

Only the movies which has a bit of link in story to US or anyothers English speaking countries will generate some interest in the audience

if the movie is purely ru in the National interest no one sees it.....

as soon as Rajni found tht he has a bit of market in Japan ....he started using some Japanese actors in BABA only to attract japanese ppl interest when they promote the movie through ads n posters....

Agreed.....

And how about taking couple of white guys who are a little recognised (if required), for less remuneration.... (I didn't see the white/black actors who are well recognised...in Chinese or Japanese HIT movies - EX: Grudge, etc)

And then may be down the line couple of International actors who are a little recognised....

yeah they should atleast take few actors who are bit popular in TV serials atleast

The Directors and Producers atleast have to start doing this.... with a budget of 5 - 10 Crore.... And in-return they may get 3 to 4 times...!! or may be 10 to 20 times if it is a really HIT movie..!!

Take for example movie - PARANORMAL ACTIVITY. Its budget is just 15,000 USD. And now they have made 650 Million Dollars and the movie is still running..!!

Yes...

But why only HINDI movies when the film is to be made to target the International Audience. As per me Telugu movie is good too. Take the example of Arundhati / Magadheera etc movies - even though the original version is in Telugu, they are also dubbed in other languages like Marathi, Bengali, etc....and they are big hits there too..

Lets see how the movie LEADER is made...whether it is a Sekhar's movie or RamaNaidu's movie.

I dont think Ravi Babu is behind some big Producers.... If required, he can produce on his own for his movie he should be able to afford 5-10 Crores.

One more thing is "Copy Of Hollywood Movie's Concept/Sceens". If you see/verify, there are a number of movies on ZOMBIES / SAW / WareWolf / Vampires etc... the same movie concept is used repeatedly, may times. But still people are watching them if it a new story and if there are new action sequences...... and this tell that Ravi Babu's movies are NOT Worst.

Also the other IMPORTANT thing is -- INDIA is good in Animation and Graphics. All the Hollywood movies (Most of them...i guess) are made here in Indian IT companies. The concept will be given by the director (Art) and the real development is done here in INDIAn IT companies. So, we are not behind in Technology. We can use it too..!!

Yeah paranormal activity is the best example.....the movie is so simple and interesting.

i heard this is the only movie which has generated huge returns with minimum budget. with $15,000 budget and movie so far has  recorded $104 million (not 650 million)

most of telugu artists n directors lag in technical knowledge... very few hav high end skills.... but they do hav gud talent....

the only prob we do hav is tat we dnt hav the environment to create typical experimental films, as most of our audiancez love heroic movies in most of b & c centers, so directors always come up with subjects lyk projecting hero always, even heroz are not in mood to do experimental movies, mahesh babus NANI, Pk's JHONNY Manoj's Nenu meeku telusa are a kind of try in making experiments,

so when audiancez dnt accept such films from heroz theres no meaning in thinking in those term

I am not talking of OFF-Beat story movies.... I am talking of the Suspense Thriller / Horror movies (not even action fighting movies) which everyone likes to watch across all countries..!!

Mantra, Arundhathi, Anasuya, Saroja, AMARAVATHI etc.. movies are accepted by people of all regions.

Ravi Babu can do it if someone gives him some CONFIDENCE....by showing some standard background settings (not showing SLUM area) and actors with proper DRESS CODE.
