The film is based on faction leader Paritala Ravi's life history. Raktha Charitra was inspired from the real life incidents of two rival groups. RGV guaranteed that the film based on the faction backdrop will have its realistic treatment. Vivek Oberoi portrays the role of Paritala Ravi and Surya is doing the role of Maddalcheruvu Suri in all the version(Hindi, Tamil and Telugu). Radhika Apte has been casted for the role of Paritala Sunitha. Mohan Babu plays the role of Legendary NTR in Telugu version and Shatrughan Simha in Hindi version. Manisharma composes music for this film. Raktha Charitra is planned to be made in two parts. Both the parts are scheduled to release in the summer 2010, with just one week gap.
