hemanth Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 The crowds were there. And Chiranjeevi did not disappoint them either. He blasted both the TDP and the Congress and said these parties had done precious little or nothing for the city in the past 15 years. “This is the state capital and people die after consuming contaminated drinking water supplied by the government! This is the time you bring change by establishing Praja Rajyam (people's governance)," he said. But as always with the PRP there was no effective leadership to take charge once Chiranjeevi finished his meetings. There was no Allu Arjun, Pavan Kalyan or Ram Charan. The nominated candidates were too green behind their ears to carry any conviction. Being a new party Chiranjeevi should have started his campaign much earlier. But till the first week of November, the PRP was in an indecisive mood as to whether it would contest or not. The delay seems to have cost it dear and the party in all probability will bag no more than 3 seats. It is highly likely that it would dent the chances of either the TDP or the Congress.
