psycopk Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu is on cloud nine following the disclosure of report by Supreme Court’s central empowered committee on irregularities in the Obulapuram mines. On Saturday, he alleged that Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy had links with Obulapuram mining mafia. “It was during her tenure as the minister for mines that the government had issued GOs favouring Gali Janardhan Reddy. She had a hand in everything, right from the issuance of mining leases to distortion of boundaries to illegal mining and transporting. Her role also has to be investigated into,” he said. The TDP leaders have raised the OMC issue even in the election campaign for the GHMC elections. “Even present chief minister K Rosaiah has remained a silent spectator to the brazen violation of rules. And the Bharatiya Janata Party leadership has completely surrendered to Gali Janardhan Reddy’s money power,” he said.
