Chiru drops the gun without firing a bullet

Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi appears to have dropped the gun even before firing a single bullet in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.

Chiranjeevi came out of his house very late on Monday to exercise the vote, along with his son Charan. Party sources say Chiru reviewed the feedback from all the divisions where the party candidates are contesting on Sunday night and the response was very discouraging. The candidates were completely disinterested in the campaigning, as they could not just match the other parties either in money power or muscle power.

According to the feedback given to the PRP president, the party might not win even a single seat. So, it is nothing but natural that Chiranjeevi has become dull and disinterested. He might now resume the talk for an alliance or merger with the Congress, sources say.
