[/quote]there were a few people who asked me many times to send CDMA HTC phones so that they can unlock and use them in India... they wanted only CDMA phones... I didnot enquire anything about what they do... but from there words I think you should not be having any problem to use an unlock phone anywhere... coz CDMA or GSM are just communication network technologies... if the devices can support these technologies it can be useful in any other supporting network provider... but Unlocking is just chading the operating frequency of your phone so that they match your service providers frequency... So I can almost confirm that these phones can be used in India in CDMA network... I can even confirm and what those guys wanted to do about it tonight... sSa_j@il

Dual Mode unte maatrame use cheyochu with out any headaches >> Most of the Verizon smart phone are Dual mode.. GSM Locked/CDMA network...

So check it if it has a SIM slot u can use it anywhere...

. IF it is a CDMA only then u can use it in India only if the service provider in India  programs his network into the CDMA which is not so easy...
