yes they did occupy parts of Ladhak. Because they refused to recoginse mcmohan line created by Tibet and British India

I dont see any prospects for war...... every country wants to be assertive i its posture so does China,

China's attitude towards India is slowly changing....... It realized that it will be isolated if it continues to be assertive on smaller Asian countries

Mean while India also tooka a Assertive stand on Dalai lama issue and permitted him to visit arunchal pradesh

U have to observe one basic difference between china and Pakistan

Pakistan's very creation and existence depends on anti India feeling..... but its not same case for China .... China wants to be recognized as a world power. and it knows that it cannot achieve that with out Indian support

It is because of Nehru's forward policy that  1962 war has started.... you never show being assertive if you are not prepared for the consequences

and  on the other note  I have no info that china is changing the border line......... it cannot be kept secret and at the same time do not believe any thing that comes up in the media which is overzealous and tries to sensationalize every issue

thats a good question... I am not sure abt that,,,,,,,, but once when India leased an Island  to Bangladesh in 1974... opposition created an uproar saying that according to constitution that has to be  approved by the parliament

but do you need a law to defend our borders ....... I feel  that common sense  is  sufficient @3$% @3$% @3$%
