1)Even if u cry no one is going to believe you...they need proof....:P

2) They sure do! Freshwater fish receive water by it going into their skin and into the system, but they do get some water through their mouth when they eat or open it. Saltwater fish do it the same way, but do something a little different though, because sea water contains much more salt, they have special cells called ionocytes in the gills which pumps out the salt in the body, so they don't get dehydrated.

3)If you look at the Old English (byldan) and Middle English (bilden) words for building, you will notice that they do not include the -ing suffix. This word eventually morphed into byldinge (now with the -inge suffice). This suggests that the word may have been a mispronunciation that eventually came into common usage.

Another way to look at it:

-ing
-ing\ 1. [For OE. -and, -end, -ind, AS. -ende; akin to Goth. -and-, L. -ant-, -ent-, Gr. ?.] A suffix used to from present participles; as, singing, playing.

2. [OE. -ing, AS. -ing, -ung.] A suffix used to form nouns from verbs, and signifying the act of; the result of the act; as, riding, dying, feeling. It has also a secondary collective force; as, shipping, clothing. <===

Note: The Old English ending of the present participle and verbal noun became confused, both becoming -ing.

3. [AS. -ing.] A suffix formerly used to form diminutives; as, lording, farthing.

So it could simply just be a noun formed from a verb (like feeling or gardening).

4)Improved tasting is arrived at by means of a survey and tests on Dogs, by providing a sample of dogs with various combinations of the ingredients found in the dog food, and analyzing the resulting behavior of the dogs.

5)find it yourself..... :0012391: :0012391:

6)The reason that pizza boxes are square, while pizzas are round is an economical one. The box is square since it is easier to mass produce them that way, and can be cut out of cardboard sections with almost no waste. At the same time, they stack flat when unfolded, and even when folded are easily stackable and of uniform shape and size. It's all about the money saved making them square, not round.

And it costs more to make the pizza if it's square - round is cheaper since they're (pun intended) cutting corners....

7) Glue is made up of a substance that sticks to things and a solvent that keeps it liquid until you want it to stick. When you put glue on a piece of paper, the solvent gradually evaporates until the glue becomes sticky. When the glue is in a bottle, there is a space inside the bottle above the liquid that is full of air. So why doesn't the glue dry out? Well there's a limit to the amount of solvent that can evaporate to fill the space in the bottle. Once the space is full of solvent gas, no more solvent evaporates from the glue and the glue stays runny.
