I was supposed to go to airport to receive Balayya, the flight was scheduled to arrive at 11.25am, stuck in a phone with friend who has serious family problem and couldn't get out of home until 11am. Called the people who are going to the airport and learned that flight landed 30min early and Balayya is on the way to hotel. Then I drove to hotel directly. Saw glimpses of Balayya before he went to his suite. We waited for 15minutes with other 10 orginisers in the dining area of the suite. Balayya walked out in T and jeans, looking very handsome. I had Lunch with Balayya, a dream for many of his fans but only few lucky get this, I believe. He was extremely simple; don't want him to be served. He gave us the Sri Rama Rajyam album with about 30 big size photographs and confirmed us that movie will be release only for Dusseraa and not before that. Spent about 2hrs there, he was asking everybody about their native place, what they do etc. He said lot of general things, incidents during the shooting of DVSK, Bapu garu's reactions in the sets etc. Again this is a dream 2hrs of life for any fan with his favourite star. We all came out of hotel so that he can take some rest before the hectic evening ahead.

Reached hotel again at about 6pm, by the time I have reached, detroit tiger Harinath Policherla garu is with Balayya in his suite. HP somehow found extra privilege with Balayya and was moving closely. He already visited fund raiser in Dallas. The plan was to start the car rally from hotel at 7.15pm and reach the venue by 7.30pm. Balayya told in the morning itself, that since it is a working day, don't delay the program beyond 10pm. So about 40cars were there by 7pm, and Balayya came out of his suite by sharp 7pm. Just in the time some fans came come Columbus want to take photographs. He agreed without any hesitation, went back into the room asking fans to come inside. All four of them fell on Balayya's feet. He was asking them not to do so and blessed them. Taken pictures..others followed for pictures. By the time everybody is done, it was 7.20pm, we all came down in same lift.

Outside one hard core fan with "motor cycle with name plate NTR" was waiting to take pictures. Balayya posed more than 10 times for him, I see that fan in cloud number 9. Seeing all this hungama, one Japneese guy enquired what it is and he immediately requested Balayya and taken a picture with him. We drove to the venue but the helicopter was not on time with flowers. Went inside Balayya was meeting & greeting people on his table (about 16 of them who donated 2000 or more) apart from Chalapathi rao garu. The gala time started just after 10minutes, the most memorable 4hrs ahead.

Got the call from chopper guy that they are minute away. Requested Balayya to come out, he obliged. Fans chanting Jai Balayya, jai jai balayya, walked out. A shower of flowers on Balayya, that completely changed the mood of Fans. 4 guys suddenly lifted Balayya to everybody's surprise and carried him inside while everybody was shouting loudly Jai Balayya Jai jai Balayya. The 300 capacity was full with 20+ standing. 50-75 are old people (with grand parent status), about 100+ families with yound kids, 100 young couples and 50 singles (mostly studetns) –Fans .

It took the longest 20minutes for the anchor to quiet the auditorium of chantings "Jai Balayya". The 10000W sound system sounded mute opposite the chantings of few NBK fans. Program started traditionally as regular protocol.

Two or three NBKs fans were asked to give speech, they didn't say much except expressing their utmost favourism toward their demigod and chanting on stage again "Jai Balayya". Then more surprises strted for the crowd with the speech of Harinath Policherla. An excellent narration of his own story and he was inspired by the greatest of telugu filmdom - NTR. The concluded his speech with a poem on NBK, an extraodinary ending for any dream speech. He almost won the standing ovation of the crowd.

Nannapaneni Raja kumari garu spoke about few minutes, got emotional during the speech, remembering when her husband was diagnosissed with Cancer. Chalapathi Rao garu spoke for few minutes just prasing NBK and charity.

Then the final leg of the journey started with NBK's speech. More humble, describing his involvment, explaining the need, reminding us of duty, displaying his utmost respect to parents, why cancer cause etc. He explaing how his mother went through all the pain, example of a patient who ran away knowing that she was diagnosised with cancer, helping hands of GMR, Nagarjuna cement, Tata, what more is needed. I wouldn't say the best but effective speech. Speech stared as usual with slokam of Ammavaru as it was a tuesday.

All this while fans were kind of quiet, except when he talk about his role in Simha. He said it was the first time he potrayed Docotor's role in movie and while doing it he was elected to this trust. Crow went gaga at this time for couple of minutes.

After the speech he went to every table , taken pictures, talked to everybody possible.

Walked out at 11.50pm, while going to the parking lot stopped and told fans to go home safely, drive carefully, shake hands with most possible. One fan from behind shouted malli eppudu choosthamo Balayya mimmalni...he immediately responed, nenu ika
vasthoo vuntaaanu....I was almost standing next to Balayya that time...and said...[color=red]Balayya next time Mokshu ni teesuku randi.....Balayya's response....aaa vaaadaa ..hahahaha...vaadini oka 3yrs hide chesivethanu...okka sarigaa choosthene gaa surprise.....3yrs tharuvatha theesukochi mee madhya lo padesthanu emi chestharo mee istam.........I promptly replied....memu emi cheyyam...STAR ni chestham.....turned back laughed (happily) as always a pure trade mark laugh...to end the event. I was with him for 12hrs (except the 2-3 hrs in the after noon)...in these 12hrs he never showed a movement of hesitation, anger. Even when the mike was not working during his speech...they had to change mike three times but he was ..........

The total amount at the end of fund raiser was -- 95,881USD this was announced...then organizer aksed do you guys want to
send off Balayya with this amount or want to make it 100,000USD, whoever lifts the hand first will get the chance. Sharply a
50+yrs old lady raised the hand and contributed remaining 4K+ to make it 100Grand. She is a Doctor by profession.

A 60+yrs old lady at the end came to Balayya, told him that she does Vishnu Shahashranaaamam every week and includes NBK's
name along with her family names, does Sai Baba puja every week on the Name of NBK, I am short of words to put her feelings
here.....NBK immediately held her hands and put them on his head.

Balayya kissed a 3-4 yrs old baby girl, she promptly kissed him back.

Most of the kids went to Balayya alone (not accompanied by parents) and touched his feet and taken blessings

A Yong Boy and Girl danced for rain song of Bangaru Bullodu....Balayya enjoyed it throughly. He called them after the dance
and talked. The both are graduating this year. The boy also danced for Nenukuda labour eee from Maharadhi.

Balayya as usual showed his immense dialogue power..by repeating dialogue from Okka Magaadu.

Balayya's speech was concluded with eeela paata about Tea...

Seems like Balayya regularly call Chalapathi Rao gaaru as Chalapai

Seems like Balayya don't eat mutton.

Came out of the suite red/merune over coat and said I prefer to wear red today because it it Tuesday, Kujudu ...etc..he follow some sentiments like that.

Harinath Policherla picked up Balayya in his car from hotel to venue and back from venue to hotel.

Balayya while leaving got down from the car to say Bye to Chalapathi Rao garu and told him paapa vallau raledhu vasthe kalisevaallam.

Balayya was carrying a photograph of NTR-Basavatharakam and want to do jyothiprajwalana for that photo at every get together.

Fans requested Balayya to dance a bit but he said no, ippudu kaadu, inko saari eppudanna.

Harinath Policherla Donated 10,000USD for the cause and commited 2000 every year from now.

Mr. Sridhar Patel spoke a bit about loss of his sister at early age (just after engament and before getting married) due to cancer, it was emotional Balayya went him and consoled as he was crying. Mr. Patel himself runs a charity called spread india, donated 2000 initially and 1000 later on the name of his son. He said his father is doctor and couldn't get the daughter treated so all his family is doing charity to educate poor. He is about 50+ yrs I think.

When asked him what snaks he want at tea time in the evening, he asked Mirapakai Bajji dorukuthunda and of course detroit restaurants are famous for that I guess... .
