Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi declared in the past that none of his brothers and relatives would contest next elections, but would only serve the party as disciplined soldiers.

Now, he seems to have decided to break his assurance. On Wednesday, he hinted that his brother-in-law and PRP general secretary Allu Aravind would contest elections from Machilipatnam Assembly constituency.

Obviously, Chiranjeevi was under pressure from Aravind that the latter should contest elections.

In fact, right from the beginning, it was Aravind and not Chiranjeevi who was talking politics. So, naturally he will aspire for some positions. Don’t be surprised, if Pavan Kalyan and Naga Babu also ask for seats, if not for Assembly or Lok Sabha, but for Rajya Sabha or Legislative Council in future
