If you have any plans of annoying Priyamani, desist. The actress has acquired a new skill and could beat errant guys to a pulp. She has mastered karrasamu, the ancient art of stick fighting, for her role in Kshetram. “It’s an ancient skill and initially I had some difficulty in gripping and swinging the stick. However, with strenuous practice I have mastered it and the efforts have paid off. I could do the few action sequences in Kshetram realistically,” she says.

On handling a sword for a few scenes, she smiles, “The usage of swords is limited, I mostly thrash thugs with sticks.” The famed T-town glam girl justifies her transition into a traditional avatar, by saying “It’s long overdue”.
