Daggubati Rana's debut film, "Leader" is releasing on 31st December, which was already reported by Chithr. Now, the latest news is that this film has costed a mammoth 18.5 crores to AVM Productions banner. If this is true, then this would be the highest budgeted film ever made with a debutant in South film industry.

Earlier, only 6 Crores was planned as the budget for the film. As this is political oriented film, director planned to shoot some key sequences in Assembly. But his request got denied. This made the makers to erect a Assembly set, which led to an increase in the budget along with several other factors. Shekar Kammula, who directed this film, is said to be very confident about "Leader."
