Hyderabad belongs to Telangana and will be with Telangana

I accept Hyderabad was developed by investment from Andhra people.. but it was not only andhra people.. investments came from Telangana business men as well as from other states... so u guys cannot lay claim to Hyderabad as your personal property...

Geographically also it is not feasible... If Hyderabad is made a Union Territory and made a capital of both states... how will you guys have access to Hyderabad.. Hyderabad is surrounded in all directions by other Telangana districts... so u guys have to pass through another state to reach ur capital.. that will the worst nightmare for anyone... administratively it is not at all feasible...

second option is making Hyderabad a Union Territory and not giving it to either Andhra or Telangana.... this is suicidal for hyderabad... hyd land area will be full in atmost 5 years from now and it will have no place to expand... so obviously growth and investments won't come in since there won't be any land left to expand... it will be situation similar to Delhi-Noida... Delhi has no land left to expand, so all companies now are in Noida which is in UP....Delhi doesn't get any revenue from these investments....

the main reason hyderabad developing a lot is becoz of the huge land area around it which makes it easier to expand...

Another situation can be mentioned here... when maharashtra and gujarat were seperated gujarati's made similar argument that they invested in Mumbai and they wanted Mumbai to be made Union Territory... they went to Supreme Court... Supreme Court said as an Indian u can live and invest anywhere but u cannot say that place belongs to you becoz u invested there... it cancelled the petition saying Mumbai always belonged to Marathi people and will be so but anyone can live and invest there...

same thing will happen with Hyderabad also... wait and see...

agreed. but, you will have everything(IIT,IIIT,ISB, international airport, software industry, film industry major shopping malls) and we will have nothing. so there must be an acceptable solution to all people here.

IIT is a central institution and there are no area based reservations in IITs.. IIIT and ISB are private institutes, they don't have any reservations.. so I don't see a problem in these institutions being in Telangana or AP in terms seats or jobs since anyone can join in these institutions...

As for software industry.. no one is asking any andhrite to leave... u can stay and work and become a telanganite... u have right to stay anywhere in India...

Shopping malls will automatically start where people have purchasing power... so if Vijayawada is made a capital, business there will improve and purchasing power will increase.. I don't think it will take more than 5 years to get all these things... remember Hyderabad didn't have all these things 5 years ago..

As for Airport, none of the airports belong to state govts.. they only have a certain share... AP's share in Shamshabad is only 12%.. so it can be divided equally...
