move all the files of same kind from one directory to another directory


source directory:  /Source/set/infa

files to be moved

one.xml
two.xml
three.xml
.
.
.
.
.
xyz.xml


destination directory: /target/set/xyz



all files  with .xml as extension  should be moved

I am not sure whether it works or not but jus give a try

take backup of xml file from source dir

mv /source/set/infa/ *.xml  /target/set/xyz/*.xml
